Moments after the surprise destruction of the Death Star, after a cowardly assault by the rebel scum, Rail Astral’s Tie-Fighter training is cut short when the Star Destroyer he is posted on is dispatched to locate and rescue Darth Vader’s crippled Tie-Fighter.
After an all-out battle with the remaining rebels, Rail manages to flee with a dying Vader. As a small band of Ties plot a course through the galaxy to salvation, Rail soon finds himself developing amazing new powers. It appears Vader is channelling the power of the Force through him.
The fate of the Empire now rests on his shouders...
Spaceship Ort 3-LC2 has spent two years plotting a path to the outer rim of the Solar System. The crew is on a mission to mine precious resources from the surface of Pluto. The journey has been long and the relationships are fraught.
Sam White, mission commander, lost his wife half a year ago when a solar flare doused Ort 3 with deadly gamma radiation. Her body lies in the cargo hold, a place where Sam spends much of his free time.
Exhausted, but relieved, the crew reach their destination. The mission abruptly turns to disaster when Micro Meteorites spatter Ort 3, forcing a crash landing on Pluto’s surface, 10 km from the care package, an unmanned lander brimming with essential supplies that arrived months earlier.
Warmth, food and water are at dangerously low levels and the crew are injured or dying. Their only hope is to retrieve the care package, patch up the ship and escape back to Earth. Their mining mission has already failed.
En-route to the package, the EVA party discovers strange markings in the dirt that appear to be footprints. Are they human? Had an earlier mission miraculously landed in this exact spot decades earlier? The chances are remote, but it appears to be the only plausible explanation.
Their care package tracking equipment soon begins malfunctioning, displaying two signals instead of one. With their oxygen supplies dwindling, the EVA party decide to follow the nearest signal, which leads them below the ice.
They soon realize they've stumbled upon a vast outpost of vicious aliens who possess incredible technology.
A deadly game of cat and mouse ensues. Sam and the Ort 3 survivors must fight their way free, retrieve the care package, patch up their ship and escape.
Sam must become the hunter, propelled by a desire to save his crew. He quickly discovers their only hope is to harness a raft of alien technologies. The creatures from below the ice cannot be allowed to escape and head for Earth. Sam must do everything he can to avert an all-out war between humankind and thousands of advanced, deadly killers.
On the 19th January 1915, Ernest Shackleton and his crew were stranded in the Antarctic when their ship, the Endurance, became trapped in an ice floe.
Shackleton and his crew of 27 men toughed out the harsh southern winter, until November 21st, when the ice pack finally crushed and sank their only refuge from the elements.
Conditions until that point had been tougher than most people could endure, but their ordeal had only just begun.
This is the true story of how Shackleton and his men fought for survival, against the odds, in the most hostile environment known to man. In 1915, there was no rescue service and they had no radio to call for help. If they were going to survive, they had to engineer their own escape, from within a prison of hundreds of miles of unstable ice, where nothing grows and little lives, surrounded by the deadliest, most violent ocean on the planet.
To this day, without shadow of a doubt, this is the most incredible survival story known to man. Nothing comes close, and perhaps nothing ever will.
